Cute Ways to Add A Pet in the Wedding Day

March 16, 2018 | Posted in Events, Uncategorized, Weddings

Do you and your fiance share a beloved animal that you go everywhere with and are considering including this pet in the wedding day? Have you always dreamed of having your childhood cat or dog walk down the aisle with you? Whatever the reason for wanting to include your pet in the wedding, there are lots of creative ways you can make that happen. Check out some of these unique ideas listed below:

Dog of Honor Dog of Honor
The Dog of Honor

This bride was so in love with her pup that instead of choosing a bestie or a sister to pull off the maid of honor position solo, she gave her adorable dog the chance to be part of the wedding. With a bedazzled leash and attire to match the rest of the bridal party, you can pose with your favorite pet in the wedding party before your big day begins.

Brides aren’t the only ones who wish to have their pets in the wedding festivities. This groom chose to have his cat standing take photos as a groomsman or “Catman’ as we’ve dubbed him. Draped in a suit and tie to match, this handsome kitty is ready to celebrate your nuptials in style.

If you weren’t quite interested in giving your dog or cat the role of maid of honor or best man, there are still plenty of other ways to make sure they are a part of your wedding day. For instance, you can dress them up and have them pose for wedding photos with you. Most couples hire a photographer for at least 8 hours on their wedding day, which allows for “getting ready” photos at your home or the home of a close friend or parent. In the morning, before all the crazy festivities get going, is the perfect time to pose with your pup (or kitty) for wedding day photos and memories with your fur-baby. Animals can become really stressed or over-stimulated with large parties and loud music so it might just be best to let your pets party in your back yard while you enjoy the people party your friends and family. They’ll be waiting to greet you with love when you return.

Your pets are just as important to you as the family, and as such can be included in your big day. Whether they’re your dog of honor, catman, or just bff, having a photo with them for one of the most important moments in your life will make the day even more special.
